WHO IS ...

KING DANCE?

Born in 1990, endowed with an impressive stage presence (1.85 m for 105 kg), KING DANZA (born Giuseppe Danza) is a pure entertainer, a multifaceted artist capable of capturing the attention of a varied audience in an instant.
Giuseppe's dream, since the age of 9, is to become a star of pro wrestling, the "sport entertainment" that fascinates millions of spectators not only in America, the homeland of the discipline, but all over the world. An impossible dream, many would say, for a boy born and raised in Salerno, an Italian town thousands of kilometers from the United States. A boy who, however, does not know the meaning of the word

IMPOSSIBLE.

THE DREAM

King Danza began training with international stars such as Ultimo Dragon at a very young age, and at the age of 17 he embarked on his first professional tour in Europe, where he also had the opportunity to collaborate with the legendary star of the World Wrestling Federation, Ultimate Warrior.
After years of sacrifices and constant commitment, the dream came true and finally, in 2013, King arrived in the United States, where he collaborated with important federations such as WWE legend Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore. In the same year King starred in a successful documentary by the well-known director Patrick Cardinale Jr., "Wrestling with Reality", dedicated to the history of independent wrestling, and to the incredible story that led King to land in the States.

THE RANSOM

It is in the following year, 2015, that King Danza manages to achieve his true great goal: to work for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the largest and most important federation in the world, a true point of arrival for anyone who undertakes this career. In 2015, in fact, King is among the first Italians to be an "extra talent" for the company, also appearing in the great live pay-per-view event, the Royal Rumble, and on Smackdown, one of WWE's weekly TV shows. The dreamimpossiblefor the boy from the Italian town it seemed to have come true.

THE ACTING

The worsening of a previous injury, however, forces King Danza to put his wrestling career on hold and devote himself to his other great passion: acting. As with other pro wrestlers who have made this transition (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Dave Bautista, for example), the imposing physique and great expressiveness act as a calling card. Already in 2011 King had appeared in the short film "Tiger Boy", by Gabriele Mainetti (director of the recent success "They called him Jeeg Robot"), runner-up at the Giffoni Film Festival 2012 in the Generator category +13._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ In 2012, however, he has a part in the feature film "Venuto al Mondo" by Sergio Castellitto. He also made numerous appearances on Italian television: in 2011 he had his first live experience with the Human Take Control program of Italia 1, and in 2013 he appeared in an episode of Big Brother 13. In the same year, together with other exponents of Nu Wrestling Evolution, King reaches the final of Italia's Got Talent, recording a share record for the broadcast.

THE FIRST FILM AND OTHER PROJECTS

Another field where King has achieved success is that of country music, following in the footsteps of his great myth Elvis Presley. This path has led him to perform both in the United States, where he also sang in Memphis in Jerry Lewis's club, and in Europe, where he has performed numerous annual tours.
King Danza has finished the long rehabilitation process and has returned to tread the rings all over the world, without however neglecting his acting career: in 2016 he appeared as the main antagonist in an episode of the well-known fiction "L'Ispettore Coliandro" by Manetti Bros, with whom he also collaborated on the feature film "Ammore e Malavita"
The story of King Danza is a story of dedication and determination to make one's dreams come true, regardless of the difficulties encountered, as he himself states: "When you have a dream, every reality is close to you. The life of every artist is full of frustration and sadness, the secret is to live with it. Living sadness and knowing how to exploit it to tell an emotion: in the ring, at the cinema, on stage or in front of a microphone".
